Help with a download warning
The Windows installer is digitally signed. Browser and Windows reputation checks can still warn about a newer download. Verify the publisher and compare the file fingerprint below if you want to check the exact release. A warning on its own is not a security verdict.
- Click the downloads icon at the top right of the browser (the arrow, next to the address bar).
- Find have-a-band-setup-x64.exe in the list and hover it.
- Click the three dots or the arrow next to it, then choose Keep.
- If a red box asks again, confirm with Keep anyway. The file is now in your Downloads folder.
- Click More info, the small line under the message. It is easy to miss, it is not a button.
- A new line appears with the publisher and the file name.
- Click Run anyway at the bottom right.
- Windows then asks for permission to install for all users. Click Yes.
Want to be sure the file is ours before running it? We publish the
exact fingerprint of every release at haveaband.app/version.json.
Open PowerShell, paste the line below, and compare the result with the sha256 field
on that page. If they match, the file left our machine exactly as it reached yours.
